Come find out how science and Christianity relate

You are invited to hear “The Science of Christianity,” at our church on Sunday, April 30 at 2 pm. All are welcome to this free one-hour talk to learn more about Christian Science and spiritual healing. Our lecturer, Mary Alice Rose, CSB, is a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship from Maryland. Here’s a short clip of Mary Alice talking about her work as a lecturer:

Our Church is located at 795 W. Peckham Dr. in Reno. We hope to see you soon at a Sunday morning service (10:00 for worship service and Sunday school), a Wednesday evening service (7:30), or at this lecture. If you need a ride to any of our services or to this lecture, please leave a message at 775-829-8117, and we will return your call as soon as possible. Also, if you have children too young to attend Sunday school, please feel free to bring them to any service or to this lecture so they can be lovingly cared for in our children’s room. If you have any questions, please leave a message or email us at dmensing@gmail.com.

We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you at any of our services.

Welcome to the Christian Science church in Reno

Welcome! We look forward to meeting you. Our church services are held every Sunday at 10 am and every Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm. In addition to attending services, you can bring your children to Sunday School, visit our Reading Room and contact us via this website.

The purpose of the Christian Science church is to practice and support Christian healing, spiritual discovery and unselfed love. Christian Science, as discovered by Mary Baker Eddy, refers to the universal, practical system of spiritual, prayer-based healing, available and accessible to everyone.

We hold services at 10 am every Sunday and testimony meetings every Wednesday at 7:30 pm. Services last for an hour and all are welcome. We have Sunday School for children up to the age of 20 at the same time as our Sunday service (10 am), and child care at all our services.

We are located at the corner of West Peckham and Warren Way. We look forward to your visit! (Our address is 795 West Peckham Lane, Reno, NV 89509)

First Church of Christ, Scientist, Reno, Nevada is one of the world-wide branches of The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, MA, founded by Mary Baker Eddy in 1879.

Come to a Wednesday evening meeting about Christian healing

Would you like to hear an example of a healing in Christian Science?
Every Wednesday evening at 7:30 we hold meetings where members and visitors can share their healing experiences through Christian prayer.

The meetings start with a 20-minute reading from the Bible and from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy. We sing hymns and then the congregation has time to share insights and healings they’ve had through the application of Christian Science.

Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings. They last one hour and we provide childcare in our nursery.

Any questions? You can call our Church and Reading Room at 775-829-8117.
